History

We first started the High Strangeness Forums after discovering we had a mutual love of all things strange. In the beginning it was just a small handful of us, which quickly grew to an astounding size. We were constantly striving to become bigger and better. In the early days things were easy to maintain, but quickly the internet started to fill up with trolls, lamers and posers. The forums became more and more difficult to maintain and those who were generally interested in them were put off by all of the false posts.
Then, one day we were given a blessing in disguise. All records of our website had seemingly vanished without a trace. It was as though we had never existed. At the same time, a random sudden influx of visitors to the website began as well. One of our team members came out of the wood work and announced that he had copies of all the forums on his hard drive.

Due to the former issues, it is highly unlikely that we'll open the forums up for discussion again. Of course that would be our ultimate dream, but due to the past issues we would have to ensure that all our ducks are in a row before proceeding with this step. However, there are hundreds and hundreds of posts in our archives that document real historical events, personal experiences. We have forum posts covering a vast array of topics such as cryptids, alien sightings, Old House theories and other topics that intrigue those not entertained by the mundane.

The Team

The size of our team changes throughout the years. When we first started it was just a few friends. The living members of the original team are still active in the crew. Over the years, few people have been trusted enough to take a look behind the curtain. An even rarer few have been given the honor of joining the High Strangeness Crew. We are a tight knit team that works hard, but as the forums don't pay the bills, we do unfortunately have day jobs as well. Please be patient with us as we try to repost all of the forum posts. It will be a slow trickle, but we hope you'll bear with us as we think the final results will be well worth the wait.
